Sacha Chipperfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Bryant in the 6th minute of the match. Glen Tomlin struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Chesney Wagstaff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Solihull FC. Sidney Ginn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chesney Wagstaff having to interfere. If Glen Tomlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, North Solihull FC's Johnathan Marchant got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sidney Ginn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chesney Wagstaff having to interfere. After 31 played minutes North Solihull FC got a freekick which was hit by Johnathan Marchant. In the 32nd minute, Dave Bryant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richie Bedford's late challenge caught a North Solihull FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richie Bedford helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Petworth getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Richie Bedford hit a great ball. Chesney Wagstaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Ginn in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Sidney Ginn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chesney Wagstaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sammy Housham hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Dom Davison struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sacha Chipperfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petworth. After the first half North Solihull FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sidney Ginn made the kick off in the second half. If Glen Tomlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glen Tomlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Chesney Wagstaff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Tomlin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Chesney Wagstaff when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Petworth:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of North Solihull FC:s goal. In the 65th minute Dave Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacha Chipperfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dave Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to North Solihull FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lee Deacon hit a great ball. Sacha Chipperfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Bryant, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sidney Ginn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chesney Wagstaff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Glen Tomlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Sidney Ginn fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chesney Wagstaff, passed just outside the right post. 79 minutes into the game, North Solihull FC's Glen Tomlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chesney Wagstaff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petworth's goalkeeper Chesney Wagstaff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dom Davison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacha Chipperfield having to interfere. When Sidney Ginn came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the North Solihull FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Ginn couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes in the game, Glen Tomlin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Chesney Wagstaff having to interfere. Chesney Wagstaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Ginn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Petworth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. North Solihull FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
