Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Terry Bzeu kicked off to start the match. Long Hanborough AFC's Lawrence Moss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Long Hanborough AFC from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington AFC's Terry Bzeu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lawrence Moss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Long Hanborough AFC's Carlton Emmerson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Joey Thurman might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lawrence Moss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joey Thurman ran back to his position shaking his head. Donny Flintoff came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Long Hanborough AFC's Neil Young. But to his dismay, Neil Young quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Donny Flintoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Young in the 29th minute of play forced Highbury and Islington AFC's goalkeeper Donny Flintoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Young came free, but Donny Flintoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neil Young sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neil Young received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Donny Flintoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Joey Thurman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Highbury and Islington AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kev Foley to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Long Hanborough AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Thurman came free, but Lawrence Moss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Joey Thurman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Moss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Long Hanborough AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerry Trunks to maneuver through the defense. Joey Thurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Grainger charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Grainger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Highbury and Islington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Grainger to maneuver through the defense. Adam Darling kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Highbury and Islington AFC's goalkeeper Donny Flintoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joey Thurman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Moss having to interfere. If Neil Young had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Young sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Neil Young managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Long Hanborough AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Young was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lawrence Moss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Bzeu in the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Highbury and Islington AFC booed when Long Hanborough AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlton Emmerson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Joey Thurman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Long Hanborough AFC's Robin Wills got a free kick in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
