Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Scott Theakston made the kick off and thus started the match. Rodd Jefferies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Moss having to interfere. Long Hanborough AFC's Lawrence Moss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodd Jefferies in the 15th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Scott Theakston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Long Hanborough AFC's Lawrence Moss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Kev Foley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Maylett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonny Chambers hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Felix Maylett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kev Foley in the 24th minute of the match. Kev Foley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lawrence Moss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Jefferies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neil Young struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Felix Maylett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Hanborough AFC. Neil Young was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Long Hanborough AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 57 minutes of play, Long Hanborough AFC's Kev Foley made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Maylett was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Neil Young had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neil Young in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Maylett saved Peacehaven City from getting behind. Felix Maylett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Chambers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, one of Peacehaven City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peacehaven City. 83 minutes into the game, Long Hanborough AFC's Kev Foley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Maylett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Neil Young sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kev Foley in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Maylett saved Peacehaven City from getting behind. Felix Maylett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Young in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes Peacehaven City got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Chambers. Long Hanborough AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
