Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Highbury and Islington AFC's Terry Bzeu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joey Thurman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Felix Maylett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peacehaven City's Felix Maylett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Bzeu in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Highbury and Islington AFC's Benji Llyod got a free kick in the 9th minute. Peacehaven City's Rodd Jefferies got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Highbury and Islington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Grainger to maneuver through the defense. Rodd Jefferies took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donny Flintoff. Donny Flintoff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Scott Theakston came free, but Donny Flintoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peacehaven City's Rodd Jefferies got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Darling was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Peacehaven City. Brandon Jennings stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donny Flintoff. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Theakston in the 31st minute of play forced Highbury and Islington AFC's goalkeeper Donny Flintoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Highbury and Islington AFC's Ivan Grainger got a free kick in the 31st minute. Joey Thurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joey Thurman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Felix Maylett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joey Thurman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Maylett having to interfere. Ivan Grainger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Felix Maylett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodd Jefferies recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, one of Peacehaven City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Simon Pitt placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Scott Theakston made a kick off. Joey Thurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ivan Grainger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Highbury and Islington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Grainger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Maylett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodd Jefferies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Donny Flintoff made a huge save. Daniel Wadham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Maylett. Peacehaven City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Highbury and Islington AFC's Ivan Grainger in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peacehaven City's goalie prevented a goal. Highbury and Islington AFC's Donny Flintoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Highbury and Islington AFC from getting a goal against them. Highbury and Islington AFC's Joey Thurman got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joey Thurman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Maylett having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Benji Llyod managed to get in a good position for a shot. Highbury and Islington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benji Llyod was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Maylett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Maylett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Thurman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peacehaven City's zone, Brandon Barton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Maylett came out of the goal and Brandon Barton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joey Thurman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Felix Maylett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ivan Grainger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Joey Thurman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Maylett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joey Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bill Durrant hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Ivan Grainger notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Peacehaven City's Felix Maylett. Felix Maylett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Highbury and Islington AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Peacehaven City to win.
