Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Todd Hudson got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Marden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Watson to maneuver through the defense. Nigel Leslie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Goodwin in the 7th minute of play. Marden FC's Romeo Fowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Reid in the 10th minute of play. Darren Goodwin struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Nigel Leslie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marden FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darren Goodwin in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nigel Leslie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Darren Goodwin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Norwich's Nigel Leslie. Nigel Leslie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romeo Fowler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antony Arrowsmith in the 24th minute. If Todd Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norwich's Nigel Leslie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Goodwin in the 32nd minute of play. Nigel Leslie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darren Goodwin's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Todd Reid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Sean Watson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kristian Hepburn came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Norwich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Hepburn couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Reid in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Fowler saved Marden FC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Todd Reid made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Antony Arrowsmith managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Antony Arrowsmith was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Fowler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Todd Reid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Goodwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Todd Reid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Fowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Arrowsmith in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Todd Hudson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Antony Arrowsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marden FC's Romeo Fowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Reid in the 75th minute of play. Romeo Fowler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Arrowsmith, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Nigel Leslie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
