Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Reid kicked off to start the match. Danny Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dean Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Coleman having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Teignmouth United's Danny Reed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nial Myers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danny Reed during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Teignmouth United got a freekick which was hit by Danny Reed. If Dean Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ozzy Graves charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ozzy Graves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ozzy Graves hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Nial Myers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Reed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathan Coleman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Reid, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Teignmouth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyn Sugden to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glenn Patten during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ozzy Graves got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th minute of the match Wes Atkinson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nial Myers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nathan Coleman made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Dean Edwards sent off a good shot on target. Danny Reed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danny Reed stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Teignmouth United's zone, Dean Edwards stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathan Coleman came out of the goal and Dean Edwards tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If David Reid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wolverhampton's zone, Danny Reed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nial Myers came out of the goal and Danny Reed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nial Myers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Reed in the 63rd minute of play. After 68 minutes, Les Adamson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wolverhampton's Nial Myers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nathan Coleman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Edwards in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Wolverhampton booed when Teignmouth United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyn Sugden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Nial Myers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruce Pinder. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Les Adamson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wolverhampton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Danny Reed 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Wolverhampton's Nial Myers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Reed in the 95th minute of play. The Wolverhampton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Teignmouth United's performance. The match ended with a win for Teignmouth United.
