If Rio Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jamie Jordoan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Chemik Pustkow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamie Jordoan couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Frankie Moorhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chemik Pustkow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Moorhouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Paul Rothwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camron Bailey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Moorhouse in the 20th minute of the match. Frankie Moorhouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Long Eaton booed when Chemik Pustkow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamie Jordoan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Jordoan in the 28th minute of play forced Long Eaton's goalkeeper Camron Bailey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30th play minutes Rio Hudson shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Abbotts and just under the crossbar into goal. Long Eaton's Camron Bailey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Moorhouse in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rio Hudson got free with Jonathan Abbotts in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frankie Moorhouse sped through Long Eaton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camron Bailey.
The wind increased when Jamie Jordoan made the kick off in the second half. Vic Benbow's late challenge caught a Chemik Pustkow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vic Benbow helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chemik Pustkow booed when Long Eaton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Benbow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Abbotts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio Hudson in the 57th minute of play. Jamie Jordoan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camron Bailey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamie Jordoan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camron Bailey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Jordoan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Rio Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Chemik Pustkow's goal looked a bit too open when Rio Hudson came free, but Jonathan Abbotts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frankie Moorhouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Long Eaton's zone, Frankie Moorhouse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camron Bailey came out of the goal and Frankie Moorhouse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes of play, Long Eaton's Phil Afful made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Abbotts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camron Bailey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jamie Jordoan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play. Phil Afful fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Abbotts having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
