Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Toovey started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Romeo East managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nuneaton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo East was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Keane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loyd Ward in the 12th minute of play forced Renton United's goalkeeper Damian Keane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Nuneaton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo East to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Renton United got a freekick which was hit by Mark Rowe. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nuneaton FC's goalkeeper Zackary Spann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fred Toovey struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Zackary Spann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Renton United. If Loyd Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zackary Spann made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jay Peat sent off a good shot on target. Jay Peat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Zackary Spann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Renton United's Fred Toovey in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nuneaton FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Jay Peat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Fred Toovey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Toovey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Spann having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo East was the one to do the kick off. When Loyd Ward came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Nuneaton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loyd Ward couldn't finish the play. Fred Toovey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zackary Spann having to make a save. 57 minutes into the game, one of Nuneaton FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Renton United. Mark Rowe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zackary Spann. 1-1. If Loyd Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zackary Spann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Toovey's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Jay Peat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Spann having to interfere. Zackary Spann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Toovey in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo East in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Keane saved Renton United from getting behind. If Jay Peat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jay Peat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Spann having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Chris Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Renton United's Fred Toovey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zackary Spann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 92 played minutes, Renton United's Sid Merris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zackary Spann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Renton United reached it. In the 94th minute, Loyd Ward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Loyd Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Renton United had won after a very even match.
