Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Walton got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Frazer Pollard notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Corby's Silvester Longstaffe. Silvester Longstaffe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julian Walton scored 1-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Seaward, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Corby's Pedro Key got a free kick in the 16th minute. If William Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Seaward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Aiston, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Frazer Pollard took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvester Longstaffe. Silvester Longstaffe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 30thth minute of the game Kevin Aiston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Keggers Hill's Kristian Seaward was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves William Foster could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Silvester Longstaffe however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Corby getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Julian Walton hit a great ball. A collision led to Corby getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ollie Mortimer hit a great ball. Corby's Silvester Longstaffe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Corby from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Keggers Hill booed when Corby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ollie Mortimer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frazer Pollard was the one to do the kick off. Kristian Seaward didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ollie Mortimer went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Keggers Hill's William Foster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvester Longstaffe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Corby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Lambley to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Frazer Pollard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keggers Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Frazer Pollard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvester Longstaffe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Corby's Mick Dumpleton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristian Seaward. Kristian Seaward yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Kristian Seaward was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Walton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 68 minute of play. After 75 played minutes Keggers Hill got a freekick which was hit by Stu Hughes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rowan Brearley during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Corby booed when Keggers Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Brearley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, William Foster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvester Longstaffe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. In the 91st minute of the match, Julian Walton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristian Seaward saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frazer Pollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvester Longstaffe having to interfere. The Keggers Hill supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Corby's performance. The match ended with a win for Corby.
