Martyn Conways short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Niall Deacon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Edur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niall Deacon was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. FC Pelsall were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Staffy Terrier FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martyn Conway took the corner. FC Pelsall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ashley Carroll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Martyn Conway could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Niall Deacon however easily saved by the left post. When FC Pelsall's Ladislao Edur in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Staffy Terrier FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carl Browne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niall Deacon. That made the score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. Niall Deacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Browne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Pelsall booed when Staffy Terrier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rich Clough didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Staffy Terrier FC were furious when Pedro Warnett was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. FC Pelsall made a substitution. Benji West replaced Lenny Parkinson. FC Pelsall's Heli Sánchez was substituted for Martyn Conway. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Staffy Terrier FC! Staffy Terrier FC:s Niall Deacon showed great skill when he stopped Heli Sánchez:s penalty. After 64 minutes, Paddy Shackleton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Staffy Terrier FC and the FC Pelsall players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paddy Shackleton kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. FC Pelsall's Gudesteo Ponce was substituted for Carl Browne. In the 65th minute, Paddy Shackleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darius Rotherfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niall Deacon having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heli Sánchez came free, but Niall Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ladislao Edur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staffy Terrier FC's Niall Deacon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niall Deacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gudesteo Ponce in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Ladislao Edur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staffy Terrier FC's Niall Deacon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Heli Sánchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niall Deacon. Staffy Terrier FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heli Sánchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The FC Pelsall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 89 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Marsden came free, but Niall Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, FC Pelsall's Heli Sánchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niall Deacon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Niall Deacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heli Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niall Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Edur in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that FC Pelsall were the better team. FC Pelsall's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
