Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Coventry Wasps's Camilo Ferrara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lance Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Ferrara, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Ferrara in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Walton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Beech United's Fabrício Cordeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Zack Doughty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lance Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Coventry Wasps's Zack Doughty in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Beech United's Dariusz Rogoz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Lance Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verne Couzens, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Fabrício Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Syd Cullen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Zack Doughty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fabrício Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beech United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Syd Cullen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raf Vermaelen hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Cordeiro in the 36th minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Syd Cullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lance Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Ferrara in the 37th minute of play. Fabrício Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Syd Cullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ferrara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrício Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Camilo Ferrara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Lance Walton made a huge save. Fabrício Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Welch kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Luke Welch hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Syd Cullen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Evangelista in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Victor Bramble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrício Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Bramble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Coventry Wasps's Martyn Rider was substituted for Verne Couzens. Beech United's Rupert Rundle was substituted for Victor Bramble. After 76 minutes Coventry Wasps's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luke Welch who took care of the corner kick. Beech United made a substitution. Den Dimmock replaced Colin Le Saux.
