An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Horseman in the 6th minute of play forced The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes The Youth Project got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Bartrup. 25 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Byrne came free, but Lucas Young reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gary Byrne hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martyn Featherstone in the 28th minute of play forced Mordham FC's goalkeeper Tiger Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrice Féral in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mordham FC's zone, Alfie Chivers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiger Kahn came out of the goal and Alfie Chivers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristopher Sykes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Martyn Featherstone made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Featherstone came free, but Tiger Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfie Chivers came free, but Tiger Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Youth Project's Kristopher Sykes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ronny Tubbs, made in the 71st minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simeon Broadbent. Tiger Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Colman in the 82nd minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's Harry Colman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiger Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Harry Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute of the match, Zack Blewett tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucas Young saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mordham FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
