Jardel Gol started the match with the kick off. Lucas Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Buckingham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Colman came free, but Hu Fan Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Young made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Jardel Gol sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Lucas Young successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lucas Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Norton in the 14th minute of play. Lucas Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martyn Featherstone in the 22nd minute of play forced Buckingham AFC's goalkeeper Hu Fan Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Crossley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Harvey Elliot notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of The Youth Project's Lucas Young. Lucas Young was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Blajin in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Youth Project's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gheorghe Blajin was slow to take the kick. During this time Buckingham AFC's players had a chance to rest. Jardel Gol got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lucas Young handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Lucas Young stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel Gol's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Elliot in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Harry Colman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi. Hu Fan Yi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martyn Featherstone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hu Fan Yi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martyn Featherstone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Buckingham AFC from getting a goal against them. Martyn Featherstone in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hu Fan Yi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 57 minutes into the game, Alfie Chivers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hu Fan Yi. Alfie Chivers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfie Chivers in the 59th minute of play. Jamie Holland was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 63rd minute Harry Colman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hu Fan Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Bowen in the 64th minute of play. Gheorghe Blajin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77th minute, Jardel Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Young was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Hu Fan Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Colman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thom Douglas charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thom Douglas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Buckingham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Thom Douglas. A hard shot by Alfie Chivers from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Hu Fan Yi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 85 minutes into the game, The Youth Project's Martyn Featherstone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hu Fan Yi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martyn Featherstone got free with Hu Fan Yi in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Buckingham AFC booed when The Youth Project was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyn Featherstone didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pier De Feo in the 93rd minute of play forced The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Youth Project's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gheorghe Blajin was slow to take the kick. During this time Buckingham AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gheorghe Blajin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Youth Project's Lucas Young did a great save.
