Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Scawsby getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Pedro Onas hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Dikaté's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Amado was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 10th minute Fábio Fontão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo De Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Fontão in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo De Matos saved Scawsby from getting behind. After some careless play in the Scawsby defense, Felíx Lima Clemente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo De Matos. The Scawsby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo De Matos should have stopped the shot. After 26 minutes, Henrique Onas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Welford and the Scawsby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henrique Onas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Evaristo Dikaté recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Evaristo Regalado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Custódio Samakuva kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Scawsby's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Fontão came free, but Edmundo De Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Fábio Fontão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmundo De Matos. Fábio Fontão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Felíx Lima Clemente's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edmundo De Matos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edmundo De Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Fontão in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Dikaté to make the kick off. When Fábio Fontão came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Welford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Fontão couldn't finish the play. Edmundo De Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Fontão in the 54th minute of play. Fábio Fontão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmundo De Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Felíx Lima Clemente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo De Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 66 minutes into the match, Welford's Fábio Fontão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmundo De Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felíx Lima Clemente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo De Matos having to interfere. Felíx Lima Clemente scored 4-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo De Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fábio Fontão scored 5-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo De Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During this time Welford's players had a chance to rest.
