Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Evaristo Zamora started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Macedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Viveque Duarte. When Vítor Sá came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the CF Valentes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Sá couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Zamora might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Areosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Zamora ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg David Areosa managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when CF Valentes's Vítor Sá fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vítor Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but David Areosa made a huge save. With 16 minutes on the clock, Pôncio Valies commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Macedo FC. Luís Rebello stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alda Almeida. 0-1. Maurício Areosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alda Almeida having to interfere. With his leg David Areosa managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when CF Valentes's Vítor Sá fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vítor Sá who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of David Areosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Macedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emirares Varanda to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Marcelo Curvelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macedo FC and the CF Valentes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Macedo FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marcelo Curvelo hit a great ball. Evaristo Curvelo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Luís Rebello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, CF Valentes's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Areosa came free, but Alda Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Lima Clemente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Alda Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Areosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Curvelo in the 60th minute of play forced Macedo FC's goalkeeper David Areosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivó Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. David Areosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Macedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viveque Duarte to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, CF Valentes's Marcelo Sá broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Maurício Areosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Maurício Areosa came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Macedo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Areosa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, CF Valentes's Ivó Pereira got a free kick in the 79th minute. Viveque Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viveque Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Macedo FC's Maurício Areosa got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to CF Valentes getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Flavio Chivukuvuku hit a great ball. Ivó Pereira hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Macedo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
