Henrique Galão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Firmino hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Taverham booed when Abbey Wood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Odemira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Taverham's Hipólito Rochedo got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Galão in the 13th minute of play forced Abbey Wood's goalkeeper Edgar Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Odemira charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Odemira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Abbey Wood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Odemira to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Paulo Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Galão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Galão's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Rodrigo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heitor Mantorras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Felíx Valies got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heitor Mantorras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbey Wood's goalkeeper Edgar Jacinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Mantorras in the 45th minute of the match. Henrique Galão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Edgar Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
After having played for 53 minutes, Rodrigo Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taverham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felíx Valies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Taverham's Rodrigo Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Abbey Wood's Heitor Mantorras in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taverham's goalie prevented a goal. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Odemira in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Miguel Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Mantorras in the 72nd minute of play. Rodrigo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Galão in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Jacinto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Galão in the 81st minute of play forced Abbey Wood's goalkeeper Edgar Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heitor Mantorras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrósio Jaka Jamba having to interfere. Felíx Valies struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abbey Wood. After 97 played minutes Taverham got a freekick which was hit by Emirares Vasques. The Taverham players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Abbey Wood from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
