When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Custódio Matta sped through Taverham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ambrósio Jaka Jamba. The audience was convinced that Custódio Matta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Henrique Dos Santos scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrósio Jaka Jamba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neide Dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Alão Bastos made a huge save. If Custódio Matta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Taverham getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pedro Firmino hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Custódio Matta notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Taverham's Ambrósio Jaka Jamba. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Custódio Matta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Galão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 84th minute Custódio Matta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrósio Jaka Jamba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Paulo Akwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Great Ayton's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduardo Ganete in the 97th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Taverham's goalie and right to Henrique Dos Santos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Taverham's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Taverham fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Great Ayton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
