In the 18th minute Sizwe Mafuna suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to FC Mamphokgo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Milton Madiba hit a great ball. Patrick Nhlapo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nicolas Koen sent off a good shot on target. After 31 played minutes FC Mamphokgo got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Steyn. Walker Knights's Elias Mothobi got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Nhlapo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Promise Tau in the 42nd minute. FC Mamphokgo's William Kolwa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Boyisana Mahlangu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Boyisana Mahlangu made the kick off in the second half. Boyisana Mahlangu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ismail Modipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
