Marek Harazin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Imrek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Obyce FC's Marek Harazin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Kohút in the 18th minute of play. Marek Imrek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Marek Imrek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BMI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Imrek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dušan Fedorík came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Obyce FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dušan Fedorík couldn't finish the play. Obyce FC's Marek Harazin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Obyce FC from getting a goal against them. Ján Strobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antón Karhan in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbert Kohút to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Obyce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Kohút came free, but Marek Harazin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Obyce FC's Ján Strobo threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Richard Pecha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ján Strobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Fedorík, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. BMI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obyce FC the free kick. In the 84th minute, one of BMI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BMI. The referee gave Obyce FC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matúš Petrov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BMI's Ján Strobo. 1-3.
