Ján Strobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Pittner in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Klement Habanec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Strobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Paliesek in the 11th minute of play forced BMI's goalkeeper Ján Strobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BMI's Ján Strobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Štefan Kišš in the 14th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Štefan Kišš made a precise shot to the right of Ján Strobo. BMI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Róbert Pelikán kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes BMI got a freekick which was hit by Marek Imrek. Ján Strobo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Štefan Kišš went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. BMI's Ján Strobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Paliesek in the 44th minute of play. Ladislav Paliesek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Strobo having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Tibor Nemešány kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ján Strobo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Štefan Kišš sent off a good shot on target. Dávid Ančic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Kohút, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ján Strobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Paliesek in the 62nd minute of play. Marek Imrek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dávid Ančic having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Štefan Kišš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Strobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bretejovce players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
