The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Kráľ got free with Gregor Toman in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lance Bullard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Samo Szabó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erik Engels fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tommy Mess FC's protests and gave Erik Engels a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tommy Mess FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Gregor Toman went to the wrong direction when Miroslav Slobodník was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Podbiel's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Bullard came free, but Samo Szabó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Podbiel's Samo Szabó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Bullard in the 14th minute of play. Richard Kráľ hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Lance Bullard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tommy Mess FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lance Bullard in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samo Szabó prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the game, Tommy Mess FC's Lance Bullard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samo Szabó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Podbiel's zone, Gregorio Remigio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samo Szabó came out of the goal and Gregorio Remigio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lance Bullard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Tommy Mess FC defense, Richard Kráľ kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregor Toman. The Tommy Mess FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregor Toman should have stopped the shot.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Timko during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tommy Mess FC booed when Podbiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Timko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregor Toman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Fedorík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Bullards short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Samo Szabó to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Samo Szabó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lance Bullard in the 78th minute. When the final whistle sounded Tommy Mess FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Podbiel.
