Nitrica FK's Viktor Čabák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Kačmar in the 3rd minute of play. Matúš Ballon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Džubák read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Nitrica FK's Samo Serbák nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Džubák made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Viktor Čabák made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dušan Ďumbier in the 13th minute. Samo Serbák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Nitrica FK's Samo Serbák sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Džubák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Varády kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Nitrica FK's Jozef Belža in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience was convinced that Matúš Ballon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Džubák was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Dušan Ďumbier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dušan Ďumbier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Michal Híreš was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soblahov FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nitrica FK the free kick. The supporters of Nitrica FK booed when Soblahov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Híreš didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Matúš Ballon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Ďumbier in the 68th minute of play forced Nitrica FK's goalkeeper Viktor Čabák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Soblahov FC's goalkeeper Igor Džubák, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Tomáš Kačmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Čabák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Džubák showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matúš Ballon in the 83rd minute of the match. Samo Serbák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Džubák having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play, Soblahov FC's Dušan Ďumbier made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Čabák was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Samo Serbák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nitrica FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Samo Serbák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Džubák breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
