Ján Hodža recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes, Milan Krasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Branovo and the Chynorany FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Branovo got a freekick which was hit by Milan Krasko. Viktor Dokupil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Stanislav Olejník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Konečný sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chynorany FK's Ján Hodža got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Chynorany FK's goalkeeper Stanislav Olejník had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miroslav Dano.

The wind increased when Viktor Dokupil made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ján Hodža in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matúš Šajna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miroslav Dano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislav Olejník read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Chynorany FK's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Dokupil came free, but Stanislav Olejník reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matúš Šajna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ján Hodža in the 87th minute of play. Viktor Dokupil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Olejník having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Chynorany FK's Bartolomej Čierny seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bartolomej Čierny the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chynorany FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bartolomej Čierny had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chynorany FK! Tibor Sojka walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Miroslav Dano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chynorany FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
