After 3 minutes, Job Å alamija mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trnovska vas FC and the Slovenska Bistrica FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 3 minutes into the game, one of Trnovska vas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Brendon ÄŒurič's late challenge caught a Slovenska Bistrica FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brendon ÄŒurič helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Tomi Krebelj got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Trnovska vas FC's Vince RazborÅ¡ek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Trnovska vas FC from getting a goal against them. If Kevin Gostenčnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Gostenčnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibor Iglič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Perović in the 34th minute of the match. If Tomi Krebelj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Mihael Kecelj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slovenska Bistrica FC's Claudio Kisilak got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bastian Perović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Trnovska vas FC booed when Slovenska Bistrica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adem Pere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Gostenčnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tibor Iglič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Gostenčnik to strike the kick off in the second half. Trnovska vas FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Slovenska Bistrica FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Taj Debelak took the corner. Job Å alamija made a great header on Trnovska vas FC's corner, it was just that Slovenska Bistrica FC's Tibor Iglič managed to reach the ball for a save. When Adem Pere fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovenska Bistrica FC's protests and gave Adem Pere a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Slovenska Bistrica FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adem Pere hit a great ball. Tibor Iglič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Gostenčnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kevin Gostenčnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adem Pere hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Slovenska Bistrica FC's Tomi Krebelj got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibor Iglič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Perović in the 79th minute of the match. Bastian Perović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute of the match Vasjo Bertalanič shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tibor Iglič showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Bastian Perović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Gostenčnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Iglič having to interfere. Roggers Dobrišek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Vince RazborÅ¡ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tibor Iglič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Gostenčnik in the 94th minute of play.
