The audience was convinced that Julijan Vučak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicholas Kardašević was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Petrit Slaček took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klement Šorli. Klement Šorli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The wind increased when Vito Nikolić made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Nikolić in the 51st minute of play forced Mislinja's goalkeeper Klement Šorli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Dobrovnik MNK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fikret Tofant to maneuver through the defense. Dobrovnik MNK's Nicholas Kardašević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kvirin Židan in the 54th minute of play. If Julijan Vučak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mislinja booed when Dobrovnik MNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonin Kolenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Mislinja's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Nikolić came free, but Klement Šorli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klement Šorli made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Petrit Slaček sent off a good shot on target. Nicholas Kardašević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kvirin Židan in the 79th minute of play. Kvirin Židan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Julijan Vučak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dobrovnik MNK's Nicholas Kardašević was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vito Nikolić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Kvirin Židan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mislinja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kvirin Židan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Dobrovnik MNK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dobrovnik MNK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
