Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Pesnica NK's Milan Avguštin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Žiri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasmin Dobravc to maneuver through the defense. Borislav Novak struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Etien Dvornik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesnica NK. Aldin Reš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riko Pohlin in the 8th minute of the match. Dimitrij Lipovšek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pesnica NK's Aldin Reš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitrij Lipovšek in the 12th minute of play. Dimitrij Lipovšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Žiri's Riko Pohlin in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pesnica NK's goalie prevented a goal. Riko Pohlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldin Reš having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Riko Pohlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Žiri's supporters rose to their feet, but Riko Pohlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldin Reš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Borislav Novak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Žiri's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Avguštin came free, but Etien Dvornik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Žiri's Etien Dvornik got control of the ball when Borislav Novak tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Riko Pohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riko Pohlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Riko Pohlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Žiri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riko Pohlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Dimitrij Lipovšek made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitrij Lipovšek got free with Aldin Reš in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borislav Novak in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Etien Dvornik saved Žiri from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halil Koletič during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Žiri's Halil Koletič got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Pesnica NK got a freekick which was hit by Simbad Trpin. Dimitrij Lipovšek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldin Reš read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Pesnica NK's goalkeeper Aldin Reš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Riko Pohlin. Dimitrij Lipovšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldin Reš was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Dimitrij Lipovšek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dimitrij Lipovšek really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Riko Pohlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Žiri left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pesnica NK.
