Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dimitrij Lipovšek got the match started through his kick off. Dimitrij Lipovšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro Serdinšek having to interfere. Dimitrij Lipovšek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mavro Serdinšek came out and tried to block the shot, but Dimitrij Lipovšek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Radoš Tušar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Etien Dvornik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitrij Lipovšek struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mavro Serdinšek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Žiri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Pikelj in the 25th minute of play forced Žiri's goalkeeper Etien Dvornik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elio Jokić during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elio Jokić kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jano Štruc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mavro Serdinšek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitrij Lipovšek in the 38th minute of play. Dimitrij Lipovšek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Žiri's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Šentjernej ND's Mavro Serdinšek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Šentjernej ND from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitrij Lipovšek in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mavro Serdinšek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Pikelj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Etien Dvornik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Pikelj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Šentjernej ND booed when Žiri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tit Svast didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Chris Pikelj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etien Dvornik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Šentjernej ND's Chris Pikelj got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Riko Pohlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mavro Serdinšek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Etien Dvornik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Pikelj in the 70th minute of play. Etien Dvornik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Pikelj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Radoš Tušar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Žiri got a freekick which was hit by Franci Kamšak. In the 80th minute, Radoš Tušar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mavro Serdinšek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitrij Lipovšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Riko Pohlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro Serdinšek having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Žiri got a freekick which was hit by Jasmin Dobravc. In the 90th minute, Jonas Schottler sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Žiri's Etien Dvornik didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Žiri's Franci Kamšak got a free kick in the 95th minute. Dinko Vacić charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinko Vacić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dinko Vacić kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Žiri's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
