An unexpectedly hard shot by Nace Bradač in the 5th minute of play forced Ribnica na Pohorju's goalkeeper Bernard Kolman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Šabić's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernard Kolman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zdravko Buh charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zdravko Buh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Ribnica na Pohorju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdravko Buh to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Godovič's Ivan Šabić got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nace Bradač sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nace Bradač had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ribnica na Pohorju's Bernard Kolman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nace Bradač in the 24th minute of play. Dorjano Musek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdravko Buh in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ribnica na Pohorju defense, Ivan Šabić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Kolman. The Ribnica na Pohorju fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Kolman should have stopped the shot. If Zdravko Buh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nace Bradač had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Godovič's Nace Bradač sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernard Kolman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zdravko Buh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toma Jereb kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Godovič's Dorjano Musek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milutin Krasniqi in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nace Bradač stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Nace Bradač shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Kolman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Ribnica na Pohorju got a freekick which was hit by Salih Drakul. Godovič's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Zdravko Buh scored to the left of an out of position Dorjano Musek, making the score, 3-1. Dražan Vindar hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. George Sončar struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dorjano Musek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribnica na Pohorju. 68 minutes into the match, Almir Franko notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Godovič's Dorjano Musek. Dorjano Musek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zdravko Buh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorjano Musek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Ribnica na Pohorju's Zdravko Buh, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ribnica na Pohorju. Ivan Šabić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Kolman having to interfere. Ivan Šabić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bernard Kolman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorjano Musek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdravko Buh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almir Franko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Godovič was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nace Bradač to maneuver through the defense. Almir Franko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Godovič had won after a very even match.
