Branivoj Borišek scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bor Mikluž, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mesud Ercegović's late challenge caught a Słowenia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mesud Ercegović helped the player get up and apologised. Mesud Ercegović hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Angel Levanič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Słowenia FC's Branivoj Borišek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bor Mikluž. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Słowenia FC's Siniša Bogić got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Georgij Mrazovič shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Muharem Mohar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Słowenia FC's Muharem Mohar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istvan Padovnik in the 52nd minute of play. Bor Mikluž showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gašper Mihalek in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branivoj Borišek in the 55th minute of play forced Bovec's goalkeeper Bor Mikluž to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mesud Ercegović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Muharem Mohar made a huge save. Bor Mikluž took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Padežnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Samed Leber was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Niko Padežnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bor Mikluž having to interfere. If Branivoj Borišek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Niko Padežnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bor Mikluž was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Tevž Juršič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Istvan Padovnik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bovec and the Słowenia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
