Joaquin Guzman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dimitris Papadopulos made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Cui Kun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Papadopulos was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Dimitris Papadopulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cui Kun might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitris Papadopulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cui Kun ran back to his position shaking his head. Vojislav Šarić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dimitris Papadopulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, N.K. ROYAL PRIMORJE's goal looked a bit too open when Will Gates came free, but Mikele Milenković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Cui Kun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. N.K. In the 33rd minute Will Gates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikele Milenković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Zejnel Dobnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aleksander Kutnjak fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hodoš's protests and gave Aleksander Kutnjak a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksander Kutnjak hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Cui Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, N.K. ROYAL PRIMORJE's Karlo Avguštin got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Gliša Šalamun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikele Milenković skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Will Gates was the one to do the kick off. Hodoš's Dimitris Papadopulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ljupko Merčun in the 57th minute of play. Will Gates who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Mikele Milenković when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cui Kun in the 61st minute of play forced Hodoš's goalkeeper Dimitris Papadopulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikele Milenković made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Will Gates sent off a good shot on target. Dimitris Papadopulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cui Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Papadopulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cui Kun in the 73rd minute of play. After 80 played minutes Hodoš got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Kutnjak. 81 minutes into the match, Cui Kun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitris Papadopulos. Hodoš's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cui Kun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in N.K. ROYAL PRIMORJE's zone, Will Gates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikele Milenković came out of the goal and Will Gates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Saksida kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Dimitris Papadopulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cui Kun in the 89th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. N.K. ROYAL PRIMORJE fully deserved thier win.
