With an all-out effort, Olofströms AIF's Notis Gay threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arne Kvarnström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Monsoon FC's Evert Wästerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthon Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Wästerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Per-Arne Söderman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olofströms AIF's Anthon Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Broberg during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Monsoon FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils Broberg. Andreas Malm kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Olofströms AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Wästerberg came free, but Anthon Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Eklund having to interfere. Notis Gay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Kvarnström in the 31st minute of play forced Monsoon FC's goalkeeper Notis Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Evert Wästerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olofströms AIF's Anthon Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per-Arne Söderman took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthon Eklund. Anthon Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Per-Arne Söderman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Kvarnström to strike the kick off in the second half. Notis Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Kvarnström in the 53rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Arne Kvarnström sped through Monsoon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Notis Gay. 71 minutes into the match, Olofströms AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Arne Söderman came free, but Anthon Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arne Kvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Notis Gay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Arne Kvarnström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olofströms AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Arne Kvarnström struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Notis Gay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olofströms AIF. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monsoon FC's goalkeeper Notis Gay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Andreas Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olofströms AIF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Malm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthon Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Wästerberg went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The Monsoon FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Olofströms AIF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
