Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alf Hägg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alf Hägg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Sundberg having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Tord Sundberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tord Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Hägg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Stellan Tunander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kumla RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stellan Tunander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes Kumla RK got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Larsfält. Tord Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hägg in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kumla RK defense, Oskar Rosin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tord Sundberg. The Kumla RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tord Sundberg should have stopped the shot. After some careless play in the Sjösjuka FK defense, Stellan Tunander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Sjö. The Sjösjuka FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Sjö should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute of the match Gösta Håkansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roy Sjö skillfully saved the ball. In the 44th minute, Jens-Åke Jönsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roy Sjö was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

After 51 played minutes Kumla RK got a freekick which was hit by Anders Jonasson. Sjösjuka FK's Alf Hägg got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tord Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Löfdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stellan Tunander in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Sjö saved Sjösjuka FK from getting behind. Tord Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hägg in the 59th minute of play. Sjösjuka FK's Roy Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Tunander in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kumla RK's zone, Bror Löfdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Sundberg came out of the goal and Bror Löfdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roy Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Jonasson in the 69th minute of play. Bror Löfdahl took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tord Sundberg. Tord Sundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Bertil Lindberg's late challenge caught a Kumla RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Lindberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Sjösjuka FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Jens-Åke Jönsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roy Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Kellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kumla RK booed when Sjösjuka FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Hägg in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Sundberg saved Kumla RK from getting behind. Sjösjuka FK's Roy Sjö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sjösjuka FK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Sjösjuka FK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Börge Klintæus hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Kumla RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Jonasson to maneuver through the defense.
