Calle Thorsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Lövskog in the 17th minute of the match. Leif Hasselqvist got in the 21st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Calle Thorsberg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Simon Wållander struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Evert Falk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool BK. Calle Thorsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Lövskog in the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Simon Wållander notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Timmernabben IFK's Evert Falk. Evert Falk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Liverpool BK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Valter Beck hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After some careless play in the Liverpool BK defense, Leif Hasselqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calle Thorsberg. The Liverpool BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calle Thorsberg should have stopped the shot. If Leif Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Timmernabben IFK were awarded a corner. Åke Haglund went to the cornerflag to take it. Liverpool BK's Simon Wållander got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evert Falk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Olov Lövskog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Thorsberg was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Calle Thorsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Lövskog's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Olov Lövskog sped through Liverpool BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calle Thorsberg. Timmernabben IFK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
