Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Kullgren started the match with the kick off. Allan Vesterberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Karlsson in the 4th minute of the match. Rikard Torstensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Vase having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Lars Kullgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Figgs IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 13th minute Lars Kullgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Georg Öfverman could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Allan Vesterberg however easily saved by the left post. Allan Vesterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Karlsson in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Figgs IK's Eskil Jansson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Allan Vesterberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, John Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Rikard Torstensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Torstensson in the 29th minute of play forced Storvreta's goalkeeper Stefan Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Lars Karlsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Allan Vesterberg. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 33rd minute Bo Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Vesterberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Vesterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Ivarsson in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Jens-Åke Ivarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Vesterberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Storvreta's Lars Karlsson in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figgs IK's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Figgs IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Ivarsson came free, but Allan Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Vesterberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Landin in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Alfred Landin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Storvreta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Karlsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Georg Öfverman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Vesterberg was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute Lars Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Vesterberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Figgs IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Ivarsson came free, but Allan Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Storvreta's zone, Rikard Torstensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Vase came out of the goal and Rikard Torstensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Figgs IK's Lars Kullgren in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Storvreta's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute Alfred Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Vesterberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Lundberg during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Öfverman in the 69th minute of play forced Figgs IK's goalkeeper Allan Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Ivarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Vesterberg. Figgs IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Åke Ivarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jens-Åke Ivarsson took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Vesterberg. Allan Vesterberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Karlsson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Vesterberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georg Öfverman kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Georg Öfverman made a precise shot to the right of Allan Vesterberg. Figgs IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Karlsson in the 89th minute of play forced Figgs IK's goalkeeper Allan Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Jens-Åke Ivarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Storvreta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Georg Öfverman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Allan Vesterberg having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Storvreta had played much better football throughout.
