In the 7thth minute of the game Jörgen Rang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mattan United's Albert Gullesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattan United's Albert Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Rang in the 13th minute of play. Sören Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Blixt in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torgny Gustafsson in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Brodzki saved BK Derby from getting behind. After a rather tough play, BK Derby's Bernard Brodzki got a free kick in the 23rd minute. BK Derby's Julian Brodzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Gustafsson in the 28th minute of play. Albert Gullesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Rang in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute Torgny Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Gustafsson in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Brodzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Törnkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Törnkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Brodzki having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jörgen Rang made the kick off in the second half. BK Derby's Julian Brodzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save BK Derby from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, BK Derby's Julian Brodzki got control of the ball when Rudolf Kvarnström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Brodzki made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Torgny Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Torgny Gustafsson made a precise shot to the right of Julian Brodzki. BK Derby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sören Törnkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Brodzki having to interfere. Torgny Gustafsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julian Brodzki came out and tried to block the shot, but Torgny Gustafsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 71st minute. When Torgny Gustafsson fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mattan United's protests and gave Torgny Gustafsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Torgny Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Gullesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Rang in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Torgny Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattan United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Gustafsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Sören Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BK Derby's zone, Sören Törnkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Brodzki came out of the goal and Sören Törnkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The BK Derby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mattan United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
