In the 7th minute Johan Lenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Lenberg scored 1-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Berggren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Erik Törnblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Roland Blom made a huge save. August Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Berggren having to interfere. Kåre Österberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rickard Berggren. Vittinge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Peter Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Swedish Military Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Göransson came free, but Roland Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, August Johansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Berggren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. August Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Berggren having to interfere. If August Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rickard Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Pil in the 41st minute of play. If Gabriel Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vittinge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Swedish Military Academy were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when August Johansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, August Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swedish Military Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åke Berggren hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Patrick Linberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vittinge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Roland Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 71 played minutes Vittinge got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Magnusson. Gabriel Pil struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rickard Berggren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swedish Military Academy. Rickard Berggren made an important save on a dangerous shot by August Johansson in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Törnblom in the 89th minute of play forced Swedish Military Academy's goalkeeper Roland Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
