In the 9th minute, Jan-Ove Zachrisson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. LUKASVERNBERG's Edward Helström got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Helström in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olof Ek saved Vad IF from getting behind. After 14 minutes, Emil Wallin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vad IF and the LUKASVERNBERG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olov Gallin scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olof Ek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When LUKASVERNBERG's Olov Gallin in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vad IF's goalie prevented a goal. Vad IF's Olof Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Carlsson in the 42nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Olov Gallin sped through Vad IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olof Ek. Olof Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Gallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Ove Zachrisson to make the kick off. Bengt-Åke Hellström hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Vad IF's Olof Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Gallin in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Nykvist in the 60th minute of play forced LUKASVERNBERG's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Per Skog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUKASVERNBERG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Skog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to LUKASVERNBERG getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hubert Kinell hit a great ball. When Linus Vester came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the LUKASVERNBERG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Vester couldn't finish the play. Elias Nykvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vad IF's goalkeeper Olof Ek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Vad IF's goalkeeper Olof Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Helström. Olov Gallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vad IF's Olof Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Abrahamsson in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Stig Carlsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Olof Ek, passed just outside the right post. Edward Helströms short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Olof Ek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
