Alexander Popov started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Gråbo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Persson came free, but Tim Matsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Siöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Kenneth Van Bets struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Tim Matsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lödöse. Tim Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Popov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Lödöse's Eskil Persson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Matsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Lödöse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Popov to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Collin made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by George Lennartsson. With an all-out effort, Lödöse's Tim Matsson threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Popov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Gummeson got free with Tim Matsson in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gråbo FF's Tim Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Persson in the 36th minute of play. Tim Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Gernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Tim Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Popov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Flinck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giannis Avramidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Saul Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Popov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Ugla charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Ugla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Gråbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Tony Ugla. Tim Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Persson in the 65th minute of play. Oskar Flinck kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Oskar Flinck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gråbo FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lödöse the free kick. After 75 played minutes Gråbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Flinck. Tim Matsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eskil Persson went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Gråbo FF defense, Alexander Popov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Matsson. The Gråbo FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Matsson should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Alexander Popov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Gummeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Popov in the 92nd minute of play forced Gråbo FF's goalkeeper Tim Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
