A collision led to MikestrikersBK getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gert Hansson hit a great ball. Henning Pålsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Gullesson in the 6th minute of play. Georg Gullesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Pålsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, MikestrikersBK's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Jakobsson came free, but Michael Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Ove Winström took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Sandström. Michael Sandström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Tor Abrahamsson fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MikestrikersBK's protests and gave Tor Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Winström, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Konrad Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Michael Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, MikestrikersBK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Winström came free, but Michael Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Sven-Ove Winström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MikestrikersBK's Michael Sandström did a great save. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Winström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Sandström was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. MikestrikersBK's Michael Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Öberg in the 38th minute of play. Michael Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Jakobsson in the 43rd minute of the match. Michael Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Ove Winström made a kick off. After 55 played minutes MikestrikersBK got a freekick which was hit by Leif Blom. The supporters of Oskarström IK booed when MikestrikersBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Andberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Malcolm Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Sven-Ove Winström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
