Gyttorp IF's Alvar Britz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Wikander in the 5th minute of play. Alvar Britz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Karl-Oskar Moberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shield Machine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Robin Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gyttorp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Spetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robin Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Fred Spetz made a huge save. In the 20th minute Marc Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Britz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Valdemar Alström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvar Britz. Gyttorp IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar Alström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Valdemar Alström charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Alström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Shield Machine getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Valdemar Alström hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Michael Björklund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fred Spetz, 1-2. With a little luck, Shield Machine's Fred Spetz got control of the ball when Robin Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvar Britz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Wikander in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Rasmus Albom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alvar Britz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Alström was the one to do the kick off. Fred Spetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Lundgren went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Johannes Göransson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gyttorp IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Johannes Göransson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gyttorp IF! Marc Dahlberg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alvar Britz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Petersson in the 73rd minute of play. Rasmus Albom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Gyttorp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Hellström to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Gyttorp IF's Alvar Britz got control of the ball when Valdemar Alström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaac Wikander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Fabian Julin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Albom, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gyttorp IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marc Dahlberg 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. If Rasmus Albom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Shield Machine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shield Machine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
