Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Skoghall's Johannes Söderqwist got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Shield Machine's Fred Spetz got control of the ball when Kevin Biörnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fred Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Söderqwist in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Valdemar Alström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sixten Fribäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Dahlberg in the 14th minute of play forced Skoghall's goalkeeper Sixten Fribäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Alström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixten Fribäck was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Fred Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Marc Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Marc Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shield Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Dahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Fribäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd match minute, Shield Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Skoghall's Jörgen Almqvist pulled a muscle in his leg after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arvin Jespersson 's late challenge caught a Skoghall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvin Jespersson helped the player get up and apologised. Arvin Jespersson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Kevin Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Valdemar Alström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Shield Machine's goalkeeper Fred Spetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Biörnberg. Axel Hernström kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Kevin Biörnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Alström was the one to do the kick off. Sixten Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Petersson in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Skoghall's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Dahlberg came free, but Sixten Fribäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Fribäck was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Karl-Oskar Moberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Oskar Moberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Kevin Biörnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Spetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Skoghall's Johannes Söderqwist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Spetz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kevin Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
