Kalle Löfkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 温星枫's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Razvan Minca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Vallman having to interfere. Kalle Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 温星枫, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lerum's attentive Aron Kock managed to snatch the ball when Konstantinos Takounaras made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温星枫 in the 27th minute of play forced Sveg's goalkeeper Kalle Löfkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Bernt Åkerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Vallman. Lerum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Åkerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Aron Kock charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Kock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Lerum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Kock to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 温星枫 to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Mathias Busk mouthed his way into the referee's book. Andreas Vallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Grönlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Sveg defense, Demy Berendt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Löfkvist. The Sveg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Löfkvist should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Sveg's Jim Grönlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Vallman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温星枫 in the 93rd minute of play forced Sveg's goalkeeper Kalle Löfkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sveg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lerum had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
