Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Kent Beneth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kent Beneth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Runhällen IF's Kent Beneth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliver Andreasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Beneth got free with Oliver Andreasson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes Runhällen IF got a freekick which was hit by Sture Hermansson. Claes Felin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Vedholm to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Runhällen IF's goalkeeper Claes Felin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Vedholm. When Pontus Godholm fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runhällen IF's protests and gave Pontus Godholm a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Runhällen IF got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Godholm. Viggo Söderberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claes Felin could save by the left post. Viggo Söderberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Aquiles Richie fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC STEAUA's protests and gave Aquiles Richie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, FC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Richie to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Runhällen IF's zone, Richard Vedholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Felin came out of the goal and Richard Vedholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Andreasson came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Runhällen IF's Kent Beneth. But to his dismay, Kent Beneth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Vedholm in the 77th minute of play forced Runhällen IF's goalkeeper Claes Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Claes Felin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliver Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Beneth in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Runhällen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. Many of FC STEAUA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC STEAUA may have spent more time on the ball, but Runhällen IF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
