Per-Erik Forss scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Kihlman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tunnebro AIK's Kjell Kihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Åkerberg in the 5th minute of play. When Egil Carlsson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tunnebro AIK's protests and gave Egil Carlsson a yellow card for diving instead. Egil Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Gösta Lundblad was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Forss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bosanski Brod FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tunnebro AIK the free kick. A collision led to Bosanski Brod FK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Per-Erik Forss hit a great ball. Folke Söderkvist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Magne Forsberg. When Peter Ahlrot fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bosanski Brod FK's protests and gave Peter Ahlrot a yellow card for diving instead. Peter Ahlrot kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Tunnebro AIK's Oscar Bodin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sigvard Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kjell Kihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Ahlberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Tunnebro AIK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Egil Carlsson hit a great ball. Sigvard Danielsson spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tunnebro AIK's goal. When Kaj Åkerberg came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bosanski Brod FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Åkerberg couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Tunnebro AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. Kaj Åkerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kjell Kihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaj Åkerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Kihlman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaj Åkerberg ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaj Åkerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Viktor Ahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bosanski Brod FK's Folke Söderkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Ahlberg in the 61st minute of play. In the 71st minute Kaj Åkerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Kihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Söderkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Ahlberg in the 74th minute of play. Kjell Kihlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Åkerberg's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The goalkeeper, Kjell Kihlman, was totally fooled by Bosanski Brod FK's Gösta Lundblad, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigvard Danielsson got free with Kjell Kihlman in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bosanski Brod FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
