Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rolf Kvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Lundberg got free with Fredrik Willig in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolf Kvist's late challenge caught a Sandareds IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Kvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Hörnefors got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Kvist. 12 minutes into the game, Sandareds IF's Jon Lundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Willig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Max Palmkvist came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Hörnefors's Eric Olsson. But to his dismay, Eric Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sandareds IF's Max Palmkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Haglund in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Hörnefors getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kalle Hammarbäck hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Abrahamsson in the 28th minute of play forced Hörnefors's goalkeeper Fredrik Willig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Palmkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Willig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Hugo Alfors's late challenge caught a Sandareds IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredrik Willig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ola Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hörnefors's zone, Jens-Ola Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Willig came out of the goal and Jens-Ola Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens-Ola Abrahamsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jon Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Willig having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Rolf Jonsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Willig was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, Hörnefors's Rolf Kvist got a free kick in the 59th minute. Max Palmkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolf Kvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 64 minute of play. Ted Widberg hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Jon Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Willig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Willig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ola Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Willig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Sandareds IF booed when Hörnefors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Hörnefors's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Lundberg came free, but Fredrik Willig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hörnefors's Fredrik Willig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Lundberg in the 97th minute of play.
