The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arman Rosendahl came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Free CooLNeZZ's Johnny Säv. But to his dismay, Johnny Säv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Johnny Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Rosendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Johnny Säv had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arman Rosendahl. Lillhärdal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnny Säv was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnny Säv in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arman Rosendahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 played minutes Lillhärdal got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Käcker. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bertil Eskilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Free CooLNeZZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Eskilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Rosendahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnny Säv in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arman Rosendahl saved Lillhärdal from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Free CooLNeZZ's Johnny Säv got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Säv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arman Rosendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arman Rosendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Christoffersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lillhärdal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Johnny Säv scored to the left of an out of position Arman Rosendahl, making the score, 0-4. Johnny Säv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lillhärdal's goalkeeper Arman Rosendahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arman Rosendahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Säv in the 74th minute. Johnny Säv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Rosendahl having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Free CooLNeZZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Hultin to maneuver through the defense. Arman Rosendahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Säv in the 81st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lillhärdal's goalie and right to Birger Christoffersson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lillhärdal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 86th match minute, Lillhärdal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Pilberg to maneuver through the defense. Free CooLNeZZ's Bertil Eskilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arman Rosendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Säv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Pihlblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Börje Ödman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
