Kristoffer Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Anundsson got free with Sven Kielberg in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18thth minute of the game Carl Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göteborg IF's Kristoffer Magnusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven Kielberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Anundsson in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Bengt Anundsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sven Kielberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sven Kielberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Sillén in the 29th minute of the match. Carl Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Magnusson having to interfere. Trensum IF's Aron Linberg got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Börje Axelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Axelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, one of Göteborg IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Göteborg IF. Trensum IF's Sven Kielberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Trensum IF from getting a goal against them.

Carl Vennerberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Trensum IF's Leif Magnusson got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Joakim Bratt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Kielberg skillfully saved the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Carl Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristoffer Magnusson. Göteborg IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 64th minute, Carl Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trensum IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Trensum IF's Sven Kielberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Anundsson in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Göteborg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Sillén to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, David Biörnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trensum IF's supporters rose to their feet, but David Biörnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristoffer Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Trensum IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Anundsson came free, but Sven Kielberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Bengt Anundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Kielberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Leif Magnusson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristoffer Magnusson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Sillén in the 90th minute of play forced Trensum IF's goalkeeper Sven Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Joar Sillén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Kielberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Linberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kristoffer Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Kielberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Anundsson in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Trensum IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Göteborg IF throughout the match.
