The audience thought a goal was coming when Hjalmar Albom got free with Fritz Västerberg in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leif Strömqvist scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fritz Västerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Polski FF's Fritz Västerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Polski FF from getting a goal against them. Fritz Västerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Kellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Polski FF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Marc Arhenius hit a great ball. 30 minutes in the game Jonny Ståhlman after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Fritz Västerberg. A very good opportunity. In the 31st minute, Leif Strömqvist made a precise shot to the right of Fritz Västerberg. Polski FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Albom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fritz Västerberg. Polski FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hjalmar Albom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Leif Strömqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernt Offendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Vikström in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Leif Strömqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lärbro and the Polski FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Leif Strömqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Strömqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Leif Strömqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Västerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lärbro's Per Ånger managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ludvig Josefsson in the 60 minute of the game. In the 65th minute Fredrik Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Västerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fritz Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Albom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Fredrik Kellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fritz Västerberg. Polski FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Kellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. A collision led to Polski FF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Marc Arhenius hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leif Strömqvist in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Västerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Casper Vallgren came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Polski FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casper Vallgren couldn't finish the play. Leif Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fritz Västerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Polski FF's Casper Vallgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernt Offendahl. That made the score 6-1 after 93 minutes of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lärbro had played much better football throughout.
