Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tord Lindgren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elliot Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Hjortberg having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Granqvist to maneuver through the defense. If Torbjörn Bergfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vedum IFK's Björn Ahlroht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Vedum IFK from getting a goal against them. If Torbjörn Bergfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Hjortberg came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Vedum IFK's Stig-Arne Hybbert. But to his dismay, Stig-Arne Hybbert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stig-Arne Hybbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vedum IFK's Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Stig-Arne Hybbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Hjortberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Torbjörn Bergfeldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK's Torsten Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Arne Hybbert scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Hjortberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Torsten Hjortberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Hybbert in the 52nd minute. Stig-Arne Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Torsten Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 58th minute of the match. With his leg Torsten Hjortberg managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Vedum IFK's Stig-Arne Hybbert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ragnar Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vedum IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragnar Hafström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Torbjörn Bergfeldt sped through AIK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torsten Hjortberg. 79 minutes into the match, Vedum IFK's Stig-Arne Hybbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Hjortberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Torbjörn Bergfeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Hjortberg was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, AIK's goalkeeper Torsten Hjortberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Arne Hybbert. Vedum IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Bergfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torsten Hjortberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Erik Berggren. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AIK's goalkeeper Torsten Hjortberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Vedum IFK's Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Hjortberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Torbjörn Bergfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
