Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sigvard Vestberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sigvard Vestberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Karl Törnqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Njurunda IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Elg to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nils Ålberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Törnqvist was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Jens-Ola Kuse came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bergby IK fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 23 minutes, Edgar Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Njurunda IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Törnqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Ålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Ulf Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Vestberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Ålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Karl Törnqvist was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Nils Ålberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nils Ålberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 59th minute Helge Löfdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Billock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Ålberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Karl Törnqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Njurunda IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 87 played minutes Njurunda IFK got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Lundgren. With an all-out effort, Bergby IK's Karl Törnqvist threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sigvard Vestberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 90 played minutes Njurunda IFK got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Stål. Christian Ahlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Törnqvist having to interfere. With splendid footwork Nils Ålberg arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-5 by the left pole in the game's 94th minute. Bergby IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
